**Zrní will launch their new album at Akropolis. The band, which has been exploring new paths between alternative and pop for a quarter of a century, will perform their latest album live.** **Zrní** are pioneers of new approaches. They navigate the space between alternative music and pop culture, and over more than two decades, they have developed their own instantly recognizable musical language. The poetics of their lyrics, their use of electronics, and their compositional and production approach—in which genres fuse and absolute freedom reigns—are unmistakable. Their music is a black hole that swallows everything: from Glass-style minimalism through strange disco and folk songwriting to psychedelic vertigo. There aren’t many bands that can surprise listeners as much as Zrní. At concerts, they transform the intimacy of their albums into immense energy. They can be wild or gentle, dreamy or straightforward. It is precisely this versatility and constant desire to explore new paths that makes them one of the most interesting and mature bands on the Czech music scene. Zrní has been playing together with the same lineup since 2001. They have released seven studio albums and received several nominations for Band of the Year at the Anděl Music Awards. In 2012, they won the Anděl Award in the Discovery of the Year category. Now they are opening a new chapter in their more than twenty-year history. In Prague, they will present and officially launch their new, eighth studio album.

Nezaměnitelná je poetika jejich textů, práce s elektronikou i skladatelsko-producentský přístup, v němž fúzují žánry a panuje absolutní volnost. Jejich hudba je černá díra, která pohltí cokoliv: od glassovského minimalismu přes podivné disco a folkové písničkářství až po psychedelickou závrať. Není mnoho kapel, které by dokázaly tolik překvapovat jako právě Zrní. Intimitu z desek na koncertech přetavují v obrovskou energii. Umí být divocí i jemní, zasnění i přímočaří. Právě tahle proměnlivost a neustálá chuť hledat nové cesty z nich dělá jednu z nejzajímavějších a nejvyzrálejších kapel české hudební scény. Zrní spolu hrají v nezměněné sestavě od roku 2001. Za sebou mají sedm řadových alb a několik nominací na kapelu roku v hudebních cenách Anděl. V roce 2012 si cenu Anděl odnesli v kategorii Objev roku. Teď otevírají další kapitolu své více než dvacetileté historie. V Praze představí a slavnostně pokřtí svou novou, v pořadí osmou řadovou desku.
