The Clockworks + support: Danny Blue
The Clockworks are a four-piece alternative band originally from Galway, Ireland, now based in London, who have quickly earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive guitar bands on the current British scene. After their successful debut album Exit Strategy, they went on tour alongside their musical heroes – from the Pixies to Johnny Marr – and transformed themselves from a club sensation into a band with a big, confident sound and a strong generational message. On their new album, The Entertainment, they combine the raw energy of post-punk with electronics, synths, and a cinematic atmosphere, reflecting on a world overwhelmed by technology, loneliness, and a false sense of connection. Their concerts, however, are the exact opposite—intense, physical, and thrilling gatherings of people in one space. Music that pulls you away from your screens and back to reality. They will perform on October 25 at the Cargo Gallery in Prague.
