The Cinematic Orchestra: Counting Backwards + support: Elliot Skinner
The Cinematic Orchestra will return to Prague’s Lucerna Music Bar on April 11, 2027. The British band, led by composer and producer Jason Swinscoe, blends jazz, electronic music, and soul with a cinematic atmosphere. Their music is built on live instruments, subtle details, and gradually building emotions. From their debut *Motion* through the albums *Every Day* and *Ma Fleur* to *To Believe*, The Cinematic Orchestra has developed a distinctive sound that blends improvisation with meticulous studio work. Among their best-known songs is *To Build a Home*, recorded with Patrick Watson. They are returning to Lucerna Music Bar following their November 15, 2015, performance, which was part of the club’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
The Cinematic Orchestra se 11. dubna 2027 vrátí do pražského Lucerna Music Baru. Britská formace kolem skladatele a producenta Jasona Swinscoea propojuje jazz, elektroniku a soul s filmovou atmosférou. Její hudba staví na živých nástrojích, jemných detailech a pozvolna gradujících emocích. Od debutu *Motion* přes alba *Every Day* a *Ma Fleur* až po *To Believe* si The Cinematic Orchestra vytvořili osobitý zvuk, v němž se potkává improvizace s pečlivou studiovou prací. K jejich nejznámějším skladbám patří *To Build a Home*, nahraná s Patrickem Watsonem.
