Pulz: REST + August Ocean & Idea + special guests

REST, one of the most distinctive voices in Czech rap, will set Palác Akropolis ablaze on two consecutive November evenings. Each night will feature a slightly different lineup of guests: Michajlov and Sax will perform on the first night, while Paulie Garand and Dan Kranich will join them on the second. August Ocean & Idea will provide the opening acts for both nights.

REST has been one of the most prominent figures on the Czech rap scene for many years and is also an integral part of the Ty Nikdy label. He contributed to the Anděl Award-winning collaborative album Akta X and most recently earned a nomination for this award for the album Tlak, which he recorded together with DJ Wich. In recent years, he has also collaborated with the duo P/\ST and Kat as part of the A)TÝM project, and he gained significant attention as a contestant on the TV show Survivor. Now REST is back in full creative swing—he’s touring, releasing new music, and heading to Palác Akropolis with renewed energy. As part of the PULZ series, he’s planning two shows in a row.

Both evenings will be opened by August Ocean & Idea, a collaboration between a Slovak rapper and the producer and founder of the Ty Nikdy label, delivering personal, introspective rap with a distinctive atmosphere and uncompromising lyrics. Special guests will include Michajlov, a distinctive voice in the Brno rap scene known for his raw delivery, and Sax, who will perform during both concerts. On the second night, the lineup will be joined by Paulie Garand, a longtime staple of Czech hip-hop and another prominent figure from the Ty Nikdy label, and Dan Kranich from the P/\ST project.

FIRST NIGHT
REST + special guests Michajlov, Sax
Support: August Ocean & Idea

SECOND EVENING
REST + special guests Michajlov, Dan Kranich, Paulie Garand, Sax
Support: August Ocean & Idea

Refresher’s editor-in-chief Vojtěch Tkáč is behind the programming for the PULZ series at Palác Akropolis.

Oba večery otevřou August Ocean & Idea, spojení slovenské rapperky s producentem a zakladatelem labelu Ty Nikdy, které přináší osobní, introspektivní rap s výraznou atmosférou a nekompromisními texty. Mezi speciálními hosty nebudou chybět Michajlov, výrazný hlas brněnského rapu známý svým syrovým projevem, a Sax, kteří vystoupí během obou koncertů. Druhý večer sestavu rozšíří Paulie Garand, dlouholetá stálice českého hip hopu a další z výrazných osobností labelu Ty Nikdy, a Dan Kranich z projektu P/\ST.

PRVNÍ VEČER
REST + special guests Michajlov, Sax
Support: August Ocean & Idea

DRUHÝ VEČER
REST + special guests Michajlov, Dan Kranich, Paulie Garand, Sax
Support: August Ocean & Idea

Za dramaturgií série PULZ v Paláci Akropolis stojí šéfredaktor Refresheru Vojtěch Tkáč.
