Precedens
**Precedens will perform at Malostranská beseda on 27 October.** The legendary rock band Precedens has been very creative and active this year. On 22 May, a concert was held at Malostranská beseda in Prague to launch their new album *Odstíny černé*. With the exception of one song (‘Raven’), co-founder and band leader Martin Němec is the sole writer of both the music and lyrics. The final sound of the album was crafted by electronic wizard Moimir Papalescu. The significantly rejuvenated band, comprising superb instrumentalists and the exceptional singer Daniela Langrová, has put together a repertoire of compact yet varied material with powerful content. Alongside the album’s release, two original music videos are being produced. [Here](https://1url.cz/RJoje) is the first of them, directed by Marie Bladová. Concerts are an integral part of the band’s artistic expression, characterised by both a powerful atmosphere and a great deal of energy. This year, thanks to listeners’ votes, Precedens was inducted into Radio Beat’s Hall of Fame. The gala concert took place on 24 May at the Amphitheatre in Loket nad Ohří.
