Jan Zvěřina – violoncellový koncert při svíčkách
**A solo concert by cellist Jan Zvěřina featuring his 12X project will present music across genres, from classical works and famous film themes to international pop and rock.** Jan Zvěřina is the artistic director of Prague Cello Quartet, an ensemble that has built a strong following both in the Czech Republic and abroad, with its videos reaching tens of millions of views worldwide. He is also principal cellist of the Prague State Opera Orchestra. A graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU), he also studied at the Berlin University of the Arts (Universität der Künste Berlin). Alongside the classical repertoire, he has long devoted himself to film, pop and rock music, bringing his own distinctive interpretive style to each genre. The concert will feature music by Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonín Dvořák, as well as songs by Coldplay and U2 and other well-known melodies arranged for cello.

Zároveň působí jako koncertní mistr violoncell Orchestru Státní opery Praha. Je absolventem pražské HAMU a studoval také na Universität der Künste v Berlíně. Vedle klasického repertoáru se dlouhodobě věnuje také filmové, popové a rockové hudbě, které dává vlastní výrazný interpretační rukopis. Na koncertě zazní hudba Ennia Morriconeho, Johna Williamse, Johanna Sebastiana Bacha či Antonína Dvořáka, ale také skladby skupin Coldplay a U2 a další známé melodie v úpravách pro violoncello.
