High On Fire + Cancer Void + Thulsa
This year marks an incredible 11 years and a few extra months since High On Fire played in Prague in support of the album *Luminiferous.* Their follow-up album, *Electric Messiah*, won a Grammy, and at the same time, there were several lineup changes on drums. Their latest—and most mud-soaked—album, *Cometh the Storm* (2024), featuring Coady Willis (Big Business, The Melvins) on drums, has returned High On Fire to their rightful throne as the kings of painful riffs. The concert at Fuchs2 in Prague will be an exclusive headline show ahead of their tour with Green Lung. Look forward to the royal trio of Matt Pike, Jeff Matz, and Ben Koller (Converge, All Pigs Must Die, Mutoid Man). The concert will be opened by Cancer Void, who debuted last year with the EP *First Metastasis*, and the Brno-Prague band Thulsa, which is currently preparing a follow-up to their 2024 album *Přikryti Stíny*.
Letos je to neuvěřitelných 11 let a pár měsíců navíc, kdy hráli High On Fire v Praze k desce *Luminiferous.* Následující opus *Electric Messiah,* byl ověnčen cenou Grammy a současně proběhlo několik personálních změn na postu bubeníka. Zatím poslední – bahenní – album *Cometh the Storm* (2024) s Coadym Willisem (Big Business, The Melvins) za bicími, vrátilo High On Fire na pomyslný trůn králů bolestivých riffů. Koncert v pražském Fuchs2 bude exkluzivní headline show před jejich tour s Green Lung. Těšte se na královské trio Matt Pike, Jeff Matz & Ben Koller (Converge, All Pigs Must Die, Mutoid Man). Koncert otevřou Cancer Void, kreří loni debutovali s EP *First Metastasis* a brněnsko-pražská Thulsa, která v současné době chystá následovníka desky *Přikryti Stíny* z roku 2024.
