Giant Rooks
**The band Giant Rooks will perform on February 19, 2027, at the ARCHA+ club.** *Perhaps heaven is not some distant, unattainable place, but simply a different way of looking at what is already here: all the people we love, those who cross our paths and sometimes disappear from our lives again. The losses, the loneliness, the hope, the dreams, the nostalgia.* Following *Rookery* and *How Have You Been?*, Giant Rooks will release their third studio album, *If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It*, on October 16. Its twelve songs revolve around the longing for connection in a deeply manipulative world strained by alienation and inner conflict. Through their signature indie-pop sound – long established on the international stage – Giant Rooks explore and celebrate the heavenly within the earthly. Delicate piano passages, compelling guitar chords, energetic drums, and hypnotic layers of synths create an immersive atmosphere throughout the album. It is carried by the band’s exceptional instinct for timeless melodies and lyrical depth - at times tender and introspective, at others entirely disruptive.

Citlivá německá pětice teď vydává album *If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It*. *„Do you wanna live forever?,“* ptají se a mají odpověď: *„'Cause I can show you how, A place closer to heaven, Let me take you out of town.“* Je čas spadnout z obláčku, na kterém Giant Rooks připluli před šesti lety. Nebe je totiž tady, na dosah ruky. Lásku i přátelství je nutné opečovávat. Giant Rooks se do Prahy vrátí 19. února 2027, hostit je bude ARCHA+. Deska *If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It* se točí kolem vytoužených vztahů, které ovlivňuje svět plný odcizení a konfliktů. Ruku v ruce s osamocením zde ale kráčí i naděje, po boku ztrát jde snění. Kapela desku nahrávala s maximálním soustředěním na analogové prostředky, protože právě zde viděla potenciál dosáhnout opravdu autentického vyznění. Svět neomezených digitálních možností je možná fajn, skrývá ale i mnohá nebezpečí – a pohodlnost je jedním z nich.
