curtains please (CZ/LT) made their debut on the Czech music scene just last year. With their first single, “Hearts of Steel,” they won the Startér competition on Radio Wave! They are currently preparing their first album, which they will release gradually in the form of singles. While their sound remains true to a sense of melancholy in their songs, they leave it up to the listeners to interpret those feelings for themselves. They reject genre constraints, which is why their concerts may surprise audiences with their diversity. As Headliner magazine put it: *“They’re two guys. They have guitars. And they’re not afraid to use them.”* Slávek Pham, a Vietnamese-Czech singer and songwriter who has been active on the Czech music scene for the past few years, will be performing as the support act. In his music, he combines pop with alternative influences and personal lyrics. Last year, he supported the Swiss Eurovision winner Nemo, and this year he also performed as the support act for the American pop artist Mad Tsai. Slávek is also the newest signing to the Corso Records label, where he collaborates with Paulie Garand, amongst others. Together, they released a music video for the single ‘Chci si být jistý’. Following singles such as ‘V tvé hlavě déle’, ‘Tam nejsem sám’ and ‘Mami, tati’, he is now working on his debut album and preparing the next chapter in his musical journey.
