Collegium 1704 a přátelé: Hudební pouť do Santiaga de Compostela
A journey across Europe along one of its most famous pilgrimage routes. The music of pilgrims, churches and cities where different cultures, languages and traditions have met for centuries. Inspired by the Way of St. James, the evening will take listeners on a musical journey through the regions of Spain — from the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela — and introduce an exceptionally rare repertoire of late 18th-century Spanish music. The evening’s guest will be writer Alena Ježková, author of Three Routes to Santiago, who will reflect on what pilgrimage means to us today.
Cesta napříč Evropou po jedné z nejslavnějších poutních tras. Hudba poutníků, chrámů a měst, v nichž se po staletí setkávaly různé kultury, jazyky a tradice. Večer inspirovaný svatojakubskou poutní cestou zavede posluchače prostřednictvím hudby napříč španělskými regiony — od Pyrenejí až do Santiaga de Compostela a představí mimořádně vzácný repertoár španělské hudby pozdního 18. století. Hostem večera bude spisovatelka Alena Ježková, autorka knihy Tři cesty do Santiaga, která nabídne zamyšlení nad tím, co znamená putování pro člověka dnes.
