Collegium 1704 a přátelé: A Dream
An intimate world of Renaissance song, in which the human voice becomes a medium for contemplation, prayer and personal confession. The music of John Dowland and his contemporaries invites us on a nocturnal journey through a landscape of dreams, silence, love and melancholy. The unique atmosphere of Vzlet will create a space for stillness, meditative experience and the immediate sharing of music. Through William Shakespeare’s sonnets and excerpts from Robert Burton’s The Anatomy of Melancholy, the spoken word will create subtle “passages through dreams” between the individual pieces. Music and words will thus come together in an intimate evening poised between concert, poetry and dreamlike storytelling.
Intimní svět renesanční písně, v němž se lidský hlas stává prostředkem rozjímání, modlitby i osobního vyznání. Hudba Johna Dowlanda a jeho současníků zve na noční cestu krajinou snů, ticha, lásky a melancholie. Jedinečná atmosféra prostoru Vzletu vytvoří prostor pro ztišení, meditativní prožitek i bezprostřední sdílení hudby. Mluvené slovo bude prostřednictvím sonetů Williama Shakespeara a úryvků z Anatomie melancholie Roberta Burtona vytvářet jemné „průchody snem“ mezi jednotlivými skladbami. Hudba a slovo se tak propojí v intimní večer na pomezí koncertu, poezie a snového vyprávění.
