Czech Hero
*Mind if I ask you something? Why are you lying?* Movement, live music, dynamics, energy, exaggeration, and a few words. The movement satire *Czech Hero* features a woman determined to meet those she does not understand. She repeatedly ventures out into the world of opposite values, where she’s “asking for trouble”. *I have to go and see what their garden looks like, what they say, how they live, because otherwise I will be afraid of them and won't understand them.* The production is loosely inspired by the cases and courage of journalist Ivana Svobodová whose “mission” takes her to the living room of a pensioner who wanted to save “our little country” and thus became “the first Czech terrorist”: “*It’s intriguing that someone’s chopping down trees, planning to derail a train, and pretending to be a Muslim.”* *Czech Hero* is more concrete than dance, more abstract than drama. It draws viewers in with its fierce movement and haunting live music. **The production is fully accessible in both Czech and English.**
*Můžu se vás na něco zeptat? Proč lžete?* Pohyb, živá hudba, dynamika, energie, nadsázka a pár slov. Vtáhne diváky dravým pohybem a živou hudbou. **Inscenace je zcela přístupná v českém i anglickém jazyce.**
